Mariah's Thoughts on Howard College

Why Howard College?
I personally selected Howard College after speaking with Executive Dean Dr. Kinsey Hansen. With her guidance, I was able to come to the conclusion that Howard College’s Nursing Program would be a great choice due to their ideal classroom sizes, cost, and success with nursing boards.

Why Nursing?
Nursing allows me to interact with new people daily, and hopefully make a difference in people’s lives.

Career Goals
1. Graduate 2. Pass Boards 3. Transfer to Texas A&M to receive my bachelors. 4. Become a Family Nurse Practitioner

My favorite instructor at Howard College, is Mrs. Mandy Anderson. Mrs. Anderson has high expectations for her students both in the classroom and clinicals which truly pushes us to hold ourselves to a high level of accountability while establishing the skills we need to become great nurses.
