Bethany's Thoughts on Howard College

Why Howard College?
I have many family members that attended Howard College, and they all recommended I start my classes here, and I have enjoyed it so far.

Why Psychology?
I've always been interested in psychology.  I didn't think I would be able to achieve my goal of a bachelor's degree when I first started college.  Now that I am continuing to work towards my degree, it's motivated me more to finish with a psychology degree.

Career Goals
I hope to graduate with a bachelors degree in psychology, and later start a career focusing on psychology.

Favorite Professor
Mr. Wayne Thompson has been my favorite instructor.  I had him when I was in Jr. High, and it's nice to see a familiar face and a familiar way of learning.  He really cares that you learn what you need to know to become truly educated.

Best Studying Advice
Always try to stay ahead!  Don't fall behind!  If you have questions, ASK!

Most Valuable Learning Experience
I started college a few years ago, then took a few years off.  I learned that once you start something, finish, because I could be done and graduated had I not taken a break.  I am thankful I got another chance to further my education!

Relax and Have Fun
Home with my husband.

What I like most about Howard College
I like that all of my professors are always willing to help and support me.

What I tell future Howard College students
Go to college when you have the chance, don't wait!  Don't give up when you feel overwhelmed with homework, keep pushing!
